PARK OPEN LEAGUE CAMPAIGN WITH AWAY WIN
CLANWILLIAM 10 - 18 WATERPARK
Waterpark travelled to Tipperary town to take on newly promoted Clanwilliam in their opening round of the Munster Junior League Division 1 and after an excellent display secured the win which should allow this young squad to grow in confidence as their season progresses.
The home side were first to strike at 7-0 with a close in try manufactured by their pack, which was converted by the outhalf. Park hit back with a try from Mark Molloy which was followed by a penalty by Geoff Deegan to put the visitors in front at 7-8. However this lead was cancelled out just before the break with another successful kick by the home side which left two points between the sides at 10-8.
After half time Park increased the tempo of the game and Richie Halley slotted a penalty to put his side ahead at 10-11, but despite their superiority it was not until the final ten minutes that the points were secured when Shane Burke went over for a try which Halley converted to leave the final score at 10-18 in favour of the visitors.
Next up we have Bandon as visitors to Ballinakill on Sunday with a 2.30 kick-off.
CARRICK 0 - 5 WATERPARK
A try by Alex Hackett was enough to secure victory in this friendly played in Carrick on Saturday night last. This was a reversal of the fixture played in Ballinakill the previous Sunday and showed a marked improvement by this up and coming young side.

MIDLETON 12 - 40 WATERPARK

FETHARD 22 – 12 WATERPARK
This was a game that Park left behind them as a lackluster display allowed the home side to dictate the run of play. Tries by Ben Daly and Harry Jephson, with a conversion from Daly accounted for Parks scores.
